STAR's Activities:
STAR strives to improve the lives and self-esteem of Brevard teenagers while simultaneously enhancing the environment that they grow up in.
STAR identifies locations where a decorative mural would beautify or improve the surroundings and devises a concept for the mural.
STAR then recruits teenagers who design the mural artwork, submit it for approval by the board, learn the tools and techniques required to
implement an attractive, large-scale mural, and then go out and paint the mural themselves. The work that they do becomes a lasting contribution
to the environment, evidence of their ability to undertake and complete a complex endeavor, and a statement of the positive step that
STAR teens have taken to discover their own hidden potential, talents, and abilities.

STAR's Vision:
STAR's vision is to help teenagers feel good about themselves by providing an avenue for discovery of their hidden talents and capabilities.
STAR murals allow participants to experience a sense of accomplishment, motivating them to strive for achievements that may have previously seemed
impossible. STAR sees itself as a service that is welcomed, recognized, and serves as a strong asset to Brevard County as it continues to grow.
